Cabanas Restaurant
When sailing on the Disney Cruise Line you have many choices for your Disney Cruise dining options. You can get some of the quick service food, you can eat at a buffet, or you can eat at one of the table service restaurants. Lets look at the buffet option. Cabanas is a casual dining restaurant that serves fresh food in buffet style.
Good for all meals, you can eat indoors or outside on the pool deck. Cabanas has the options of fresh fruit, wonderful desserts, as well as fresh made to order foods. Cabanas isn’t in your dining rotation, and at Dinner it becomes a table service dining room. Cabanas also offers a nighttime dessert buffet at least one night of your cruise.
On the Disney Dream, the ship I was on, it was designed with a California beach motif. Cabanas also has a full service bar to provide you with delicious cocktails and specialty drinks.
Cabanas gives you the opportunity to dine under the stars as well have a more casual dinner, this is the spot for you
Cabanas Dress Code
For dinner at Cabanas the dress code is cruise casual. You’re not supposed to wear tank tops, swim wear or shorts at dinnertime.
Cabanas Review
We ate at Cabanas one day for breakfast and it was just standard breakfast buffet fare. There were some made to order items, like omelets, but it was nothing special. We also tried the evening dessert buffet, but found it kind of limited and disappointing considering the usual fabulous quality of Disney desserts, especially at the regular dinner restaurants on-board. Overall it’s a good place to eat if you don’t like being stuck in a set dining schedule, or want a snack between meals, but Cabanas wasn’t really for us.
