Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
Even those who are not into the “Hollywood” scene can appreciate the movie history of Disney and how much these movies shape the lives of children. Since the beginning of Disney movies, there are so many people who have grown up watching the animated movies, cartoons and the live action versions of everything under the sun. The Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort pays homage to all characters that have warmed your heart and won over your sense of spirit. You will feel like you are staying in a museum of your childhood when it comes to spending some time in Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort.
Each set of the Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort rooms is divided into themed rooms based on one movie or another. The “Toy Story” section includes a 27-foot tall bucket of Green Army Men, a Woody statue as well as Buzz Lightyear. The rooms and the building are painted in the colors that you find in the movie to make you feel like you have walked into the imagination of Pixar’s animation team. The Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort “Fantasia” rooms are great for the nostalgic Disney visitor, “The Mighty Ducks” area is great for the sports fan, “The Love Bug” has a real life copy of Herbie sitting right there in the lobby and “One Hundred and One Dalmations” is just packed with spots everywhere. You might find yourself wanting to run out and adopt a puppy if you stay in the puppy place.
Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort Recreational Activities
Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort features two swimming pools, a Sorcerer’s Apprentice pool fashioned after “Fantasia” and a Duck Pond. The Duck Pond is actually having the shape similar to that of a hockey rink as inspired by “The Mighty Ducks.” For exercise you can head out on the jogging trail and to run off the kids energy you can send them to the playground between the Fantasia and Toy Story buildings. There is a large arcade in the Cinema Hall building
Just as with movie styles, the Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort has stream-lined the food process and made it so you can make everyone in the family happy. The World Premiere Food Court gives you all sorts of options under each of the different “marquees.” You can get what you like and let the kids go wild finding what they enjoy eating. It is considered “quick service” and is sort of cafeteria style so that you can get on your way to the park. The typical person can eat for under $15 in the Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort food court, another nice feature if you are feeding a whole family. Of course, if you want a more formal dining experience you can head out to the various other Disney parks, Hotels, or Downtown Disney.
Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort Proximity to the Park
One of the benefits of staying on the property is you don’t have to fight for parking every day. You can simply wake up and hop on the shuttle to head over to any of the amusement parks.
