Olivia’s Cafe is a casual restaurant at the Walt Disney World Resort where you will be able to enjoy a traditional American dining experience. Olivia’s Cafe has a retro décor on the exterior, painted with a pale turquoise color along with pure white. The inside does not disappoint, either, as the main dining room is bright, not only because of sunlight, but also because of the beautifully crafted lamps hung from the ceiling. The walls are also decorated with beautiful beach paraphernalia and also with Disney Vacation Club member photos. A splash of color during the meal is added by the fiesta tableware.
Olivia’s Cafe Menu
As with most Disney restaurants, kids are welcome at Olivia’s Cafe and have their own menus from which to choose their meals. The Olivia’s Cafe breakfast menu has 4 different items, each of them being more delicious than the previous one, so making a choice will be hard in the end, when Buttermilk Pancakes and bacon compete with Mickey Waffles served with bacon, syrup and butter. However, whatever your child decides to eat, they will enjoy a great meal.
The Olivia’s Cafe regular breakfast menu has an ideal starter with either a fresh cup of fruit or a Sunrise Platter, a dish consisting of melon, yogurt, granola and honey, and other items. These appetizers are designed by Olivia’s Cafe to fully refresh you as the days at Disney are too entertaining for anyone to resist without a proper meal. That’s why later in the day you might want to try a Cuban sandwich, filled with sliced pork loin, ham, Swiss cheese and other delicious garnishes. Olivia’s Cafe Salads are also available if meat is too heavy for you, and a Key West Salmon Salad is what I would recommend, as the Salmon is very light and since it comes with tomatoes, cucumbers and other mixed greens, you will experience a delicious meals. Aside from the Slow-Cooked Prime Rib which is not available until after 5pm, all other menu items are available after breakfast, once the menu switches over to the all-day selections. While you will find the afore mentioned Cuban Sandwich and Key West Salmon Salad on the all-day menu, you will also see a variety of burgers, sandwiches, seafood dishes, a several other delicious menu items here at Olivia’s Cafe, including Island Barbecue Pork Ribs, Pan Seared Chicken Breast, and Grilled New York Strip.
Olivia’s Cafe also provides delicious desserts with the exception of the breakfast. However, at lunch or dinner time you can eat delicious Key Lime Pies served with mango or raspberry sauce or a house specialty, Banana Bread Pudding Sundae, served with bananas foster topping and also vanilla bean ice cream.
Olivia’s Cafe has a good menu and is especially good for breakfast. I don’t know about you, but I can only take so many character meals and Olivia’s Cafe gives you a great alternative especially at breakfast. They have some large pancakes that are well worth going for breakfast. They don’t always have the best service, but when your staying on property they are a good find. Just make sure you look at the Olivia’s Cafe menu to decide if this is the place for you to dine at.
