The Teppan Edo restaurant is situated in Epcot’s World Showcase in the Japanese Pavilion. Here at Teppan Edo you will dine on foods cooked teppan style.
Teppan Edo is open daily from 12 pm to 9 pm, for lunch and dinner service. Depending on the number of guests in your party, you may be seated with another party to maximize everyone’s enjoyment of the Teppan Edo experience. You will enjoy watching the cooks perform culinary feats while preparing your meal on the largfe metal cooking surface in the middle of the table. You`ll just love the show, watching how the cook makes your food – these people will absolutely amaze you! All the cooks are friendly and this helps in creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere.
At Teppan Edo you’ll eat Japanese delicacies, such as Miso Soup and sushi. No trip to Teppan Edo is complete without having some of the famous sushi! Adults can combine their meals with Sake, a Kirin beer, or a glass of wine, as well as the regular soft drinks provided throughout Disney World.
The menu consists of a wide variety of traditional Japanese food. For appetizers you can choose from an assorted tempura plate, various different rolls – like the California Roll and Crispy Eel Roll, to a sushi sampler. The soups and salads available at the restaurant are: miso soup, garden salad, and seaweed salad. For the main course, you can choose from chicken, shrimp, scallops, and a variety of steaks served with Udon noodles, seasonal vegetables and steamed rice or Yasi which is just the noodles, vegetables, and rice. The desserts offered are Green Tea Pudding, Ice Cream, and Chocolate Ginger Cake. A separate kids menu is also offered, with foods that they may never have dreamed of eating, like Tempura. This menu is basically a smaller version of the adult menu; the kids don’t get the option of steak.
This restaurant is a special experience which draws people back again and again. The next time you are at Epcot and feel like sampling authentic Japanese dishes, Teppan Edo should be your restaurant of choice.
