Disney Vacation Club Resorts
When looking to buy into the Disney Vacation Club resorts when you want to buy, you need to consider the amenities of the resort along with a lot of factors. One of the factors I look at when I choose one of the Disney Vacation Club resorts was the restaurants located within the hotels. Another factor needs to be the distance to the parks you will wish to visits. Let’s look at the Disney Vacation Club resorts and I’ll give you some of the benefits. There are a good number of Disney Vacation Club resorts to choose from, and when buying, its good to pick one you will love. Make sure you buy at the Disney Vacation Club resort where you would like to stay.
Disney Vacation Club Resorts List
Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas – This is this eighth of the Disney Vacation Club resorts. The Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas point expire January 31st 2057. The Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas is close to the Animal Kingdom park. It has some great restaurants including; Boma, Jiko & Saana. The Animal Kingdom Lodge has two sections. The Jambo house and Kidani. The pool at Jambo house is probably one of the best on the property.
Aulani Resort & Spa – This is the most recent of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts. Aulani’s points expire on January 31st 2062. Aulani is located on the island of O’ahu. Aulani is another one of the amazing Disney Vacation Club Resorts with amazing architecture. Great spa’s and amazing pools.
Bay Lake Tower – This hotel is nestled near the Contemporary hotel and sports architecture matching it. The points for this hotel will expire on January 31st 2060. Of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts, this is the closest to the Magic Kingdom, and so far is the only one located on the Monorail. There are some amazing restaurants located within the Contemporary hotel including; the California Grill, Chef Mickey’s and The Wave.
Disney’s Beach Club Villas – This hotel is within walking distance to Epcot. There is a further walk as well to Hollywood Studios. The points for this hotel will expire on January 31, 2042. This of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts has some a great pool with a lazy river. For restaurants it has Cape May Cafe and Beaches and Cream. Of all of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts them having Beaches and Cream is great. That is one of the best dessert spots at any hotel.
Disney’s Boardwalk Villas Resort – This is another hotel that is within walking distance to both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studio’s. The points for this hotel will expire on January 31, 2042. This hotel has a great boardwalk feel. Of all the Disney Vacation Club Resorts this is the only one that has a restaurant with a Food Network chef. So, you have Kouzzina by Cat Cora, then you also have; Big River Grille & Brewing Works, ESPN Club, and Flying Fish Cafe. The pool area has a 200 foot waterslide.
Hilton Head Island – Modeled after a 1040′s hunting and fishing lodge you will find this hotel. Located in South Carolina, of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts this is another one not near a theme park. The resorts point will expire on January 31, 2042. The resort has featured pools and much to do in the area.
Disney’s Old Key West Resort – A hotel with the feel of the Florida Key’s. Most area’s you will need to go to will be by bus, however you can take a boat ride to Downtown Disney. The points will expire on either January 31st, 2042 or January 31st, 2057 depending on the contract. Of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts they only have 1 table service restaurant, Olivia’s Cafe. The main pool here has a sandcastle slide located within the iconic lighthouse.
Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa – This of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts is where you will find the main DVC offices. It is where you will go to do any tours as well as sign any direct contract with Disney. It is modeled after a upstate New York hotel. The points for this hotel will expire on January 31st, 2054. The only restaurant of note is the Turf Club Bar and Grill. This hotel is really spread out. You will have to take the bus to get most places, except Downtown Disney, which is close and can be gotten to by boat.
Disney’s Vero Beach Resort – This is another of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts not located near a theme park. Here is a vacation club resort located on a Florida Beach. The points will expire on January 31st, 2042. There are multiple dining options and recreation area located within.
Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel – This hotel is the only one of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts near Disneyland. Its located right between Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure. The points for this hotel will expire on January 31, 2060. This hotel has some good restaurants including; Napa Rose and Storyteller’s Cafe. The Redwood pool is a nice pool with a good slide, your kids will love.
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Villas – This hotel has some beautiful architecture. It will make you feel like you’re in one of the National Parks. Reminds me of my trip to Yosemite when I was a kid. The points for this hotel will expire on January 31st, 2042. Of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts this hotel has some of the best restaurant. Artist Point and Whispering Canyon Cafe are two restaurants worth trying. The Silver Creek Springs Pool is great. You can take the bus to most areas, however you can get to the Magic Kingdom by boat as well.
Disney has announced a new one of the Disney Vacation Club resorts at the Grand Floridian. There isn’t much info on it this new one of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts yet, and I will post more information as I get it.
