Disney World Tickets
When looking to travel to Disney World, you have many options for the type of Disney World Tickets you will buy. If your buying a package from Disney that includes the Disney World Tickets, you will get the Disney rate. These Disney World Tickets can be upgraded but must be done before the end of the last day of your trip. You can upgrade them to change the length of your tickets or upgrade to a season pass. You can go to the information windows which are located just outside most of the parks or your hotel if staying on property to do so.
If your staying at an outside hotel, you will end up buying the Disney World Tickets when you get to Disney World or online. So, what kind of Disney World Tickets are there? There are the standard base Disney World Tickets as well as many other options you can purchase.
What kind of Disney World Tickets Options are there?
Park Hopper option – A “Magic Your Way” ticket with the “Park Hopper” option enables you to visit all of the 4 major Walt Disney World parks during the same day. You can then go to the Magic Kingdom during the morning, use a Disney World Transportation System bus and then do dinner at one of the Amazing Epcot restaurants. The “Park Hopper” option enables you to go to any park in one day. This is another reason why its good to plan your trip in advance. You will know whether you will need to have this Disney World Tickets option.
Water Park Fun & More option – A “Magic Your Way” ticket with the “Water Park Fun & More” option is a great as it adds more value to your ticket for a small pricing increase. This ticket will still be used to go to the parks for the number of days on the ticket. With this Disney World Tickets option, you now have the option of checking out he following attractions;
- Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
- Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park
- Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex
- DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park
- Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course
No Expiration option – A “Magic Your Way” ticket with the “No Expiration” option, your ticket wont ever expire. Without buying this option, all tickets expire 14 days after the first day of use. With a “No Expiration” ticket, you can return anytime and use days and admissions that you never got a chance to use during your first visit. As there is a lot of savings in buying more ticketed days, this is a great option if you only visit for a few days, but do it often. By purchasing, you can save money by upgrading your ticket to more days(10 max). This doesn’t beat the savings of an Annual Pass if you go more than 10 days in a year, but is worth it if you will travel 5 days this year and five days next year.
Disney World Tickets options like No Expiration, Park Hopper, and Water Parks & More are good to add, but they will increase the pricing of the ticket. The most expensive type of Disney World Tickets would include all three and can be up to a 10 day pass. The more days you buy, the better the price and for everything above the 10, an Annual Pass is the way to go.
So, where can you buy these Disney World Tickets?
For the best prices on Disney World Tickets, or really any Orlando theme park (just purchased some to Universal’s Islands of Adventure), Undercover Tourist has the best prices. You can find a link for them on the bottom of this page. I know many people you have used them in the past and they are reputable. Make sure you purchase your tickets early, as every year the Disney World Tickets prices do go up. I don’t know when they will go up next, so I would buy sooner rather than later.
If your interested in an Annual Pass, read more here. Like I said, Disney does increase the prices of the Disney World Tickets every year and you can buy early, I haven’t seen expiration date’s on tickets, but make sure you do read before you buy.
