There are different Disney World Tours options for all budgets and ages as well as for each of the Disney World parks.

Disney World Tours – Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park

This tour takes place at Animal Kingdom as is designed for vacationers that are 16 years old and older. You will get to see how Disney World is working to take care of the animals with efforts in conservation, medicine, nutrition, and studies. You will get to visit the backstage animal habitats, meet the keepers, and watch backstage care of the animals. You will also get to see how the animals’ food is prepared and the Veterinary Hospital. Every part of this tour is done behind the scenes, so you may or may not get to see a lot of animals. Of the Disney World Tours this one is excellent for those who love caring for a variety of different animals.

Wild Africa Trek

  • Ages: All Price: $189 per Person Duration: 3 Hours

The Wild Africa Trek has experienced guides take tourists through the most remote areas of the Animal Kingdom Park. You will get to see remote areas of Harambe Wildlife Reserve as well as taking a bushwalk through forests of fern and vine. You will get to ride in open-air vehicles for an over-landing tour. This tour also includes a private safari camp to watch the wildlife in the park as well as tasting delicious African inspired food. The best part of the tour is being attached to a safety line where you get to walk over a rope bridge to see crocs and hippos. The tour is about 3 hours long.

Wild By Design

  • Ages: 14 and up Price: $60 per Person Duration: 3 Hours

The Wild By Design Disney World Tour is all about the making of the newest addition to Disney World: Animal Kingdom. The tour guides will teach you about the three A’s at the park: architecture, art, and artifacts. You will also learn about the stories that inspired many of the designs in the park. This is a three-hour walking tour that educates you on the complexities of building a park designed around animals. You will get to see the habitats. You will also get to see Anandapur, Harambe and Discovery Island. You will also get a delicious breakfast. This is not a behind-the-scenes tour, you will be on the main stage of Animal Kingdom.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

  • Ages: 3-12 Price: Various Duration: 30 to 60 Minutes

What is the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique? This is a salon where your children (age 3 to 12) are transformed into a princess or a knight. You will find the salon located in the World of Disney in the Downtown Disney’s Marketplace or in Cinderella’s Castle in the Magic Kingdom. You will find there are different levels of packages. The packages include everything from hairstyling, makeup, nail polish, photo packages and a whole lot more. We would recommend you buy a dress for your daughter before you go as that will save you a good amount of money. Of the Disney World Tours this isn’t really a tour, but is an extra experience you can have.

Family Magic Tour

  • Ages: All Price: $34 per Person Duration: 1-3 Hours

This tour is for all ages and you will be guided and will be trying to save the Magic Kingdom from one of the Disney Villains.

Harmony Barbershop

The Harmony Barbershop is located in the Magic Kingdom. Here you can buy a package to get your children’s first haircut as well as get haircuts for your older children. Again, this Disney World Tours listing isn’t really a tour, but a great experience especially if you have a child in need of their first haircut.

Keys to the Kingdom

  • Ages: 16 and up Price: $74 per Person Duration: 3+ Hours

Keys to the Kingdom is a one of the best Disney World Tours for those who want to learn more about the Magic Kingdom. This tour lasts about 4.5 hours and educates you on the history of the Magic Kingdom and the secrets from backstage. You will learn about Walt Disney and see the Utilidor entrance to see backstage opportunities like the wardrobe and cosmetology departments. You will also get to see the fabulous parade floats in their storage area. You will also get to eat at the Columbia Harbour House with a delicious meal that is prepared especially for guest of this tour.

Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour

  • Ages: All Price: $30 per Person Duration: 1-33 Hours

The idea of a town Walt Disney lived in for a time inspired his idea for Main St. USA. The Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour is a 2.5 to 3 hour tour where you learn how Walt’s past influenced his thoughts for the Disney parks. This Disney World Tours is great for those that love the history of Disney.

Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage

  • Ages: All Price: Ages 10+ = 53.99 Ages 3-9 = $30.99 Duration: 1-3 Hours

You start off at Disney’s Contemporary Hotel and get some beverages and snacks in a pirate setting before getting on the boat. You then get to meet Captain Hook and Mr. Smee for some pictures and once that is done you board the boat. The highlights of the tour are the host who will entertain you with some great humor as well as Disney trivia as you wait for the fireworks to start over the Magic Kingdom. On select nights, the cruise will also let you watch the Electrical Water Pagent.

The Pirates League

  • Ages: 3 and up Price: $29.95 per Person Minimum Duration: 30-60 Minutes

The pirates league is kind of like the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique but in this one your children are transformed into a pirate with makeup as well as clothes you can buy. This is another experience where it is more cost effective to buy the pirate costume before you come to the park. Once done, the children have their picture taken. They also get to participate in the Adventureland Pirate Parade. Again of our Disney World Tours this really isn’t a tour, but a great experience for your children.

  • Ages: 10 and up Price: $49 per Person Duration: 3 Hours

For those ten and up, the Magic Behind Our Steam Trains tour at Magic Kingdom give guests the opportunity to learn about the trains at the park. Walt Disney was fascinated with steam engines and the ones at Disney World give rides to over 3 million guests each year. You will get to see the backstage roundhouse where the four steam trains are maintained. Of the Disney World Tours, this is one we really enjoyed.
